The twin-screw extrusion processes developed by CLEXTRAL during the past 50 years enable continuous production
of homogeneous dough for use in the food, paper and chemical industries from natural or synthetic raw materials.
- Food industry: Clextral invented twin-screw applications for the food industry 30 years ago. Nowadays it is considered as the reference of industrial twin-screw extrusion processing lines in the world.
It supplies the main international groups in the food industry and continues to expand into new markets.
- Advanced chemicals, cosmetics, and plastics : as early as 1956, Clextral took part in the growth of the plastics industry, with the manufacture of the first twin-screw machines.
- Special types of paper: since 1975, in collaboration with the Centre Technique du Papier (CTP) and with its clients, Clextral has developed processes to manufacture and treat pulp for special types of paper.
